Open Role

Enterprise Applications Integration Architect

  • Fully remote — European Union
  • 7+ years of experience
  • Flexible schedule

About the Company

Atalora Digital Services is a startup on a mission to make interoperability accessible across the manufacturing sector. We empower global manufacturers to connect systems, streamline operations, and unlock hidden value through smart, scalable integration solutions. You'll join a collaborative, forward-thinking global team that values initiative, innovation, and impact. If you thrive in connecting people, processes, and platforms and want to shape how enterprise systems work together, this is the role for you.

About the Role

We're looking for an Enterprise Applications Integration Architect to design and lead the technical foundation of our customer's enterprise systems landscape. You'll architect and oversee integrations across Enterprise Applications such as ERP, Financials, Manufacturing, HR, CRM and SRM platforms, ensuring performance, scalability, and resilience in how our business applications connect and evolve. This role is ideal for someone who combines hands-on integration expertise with a strategic architectural mindset, eager to shape and standardize how data, APIs, and business processes flow across a global enterprise.

Location

Fully remote, with flexibility to work from any country within the European Union.

What You Will Do

As part of our integration team, you'll be working with cutting-edge technologies and play a key role in delivering robust, high-performance solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Define and own the enterprise integration architecture, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and technical constraints such as scalability, data volumes, and security.
  • Collaborate closely with the Enterprise Applications Integration Lead and cross-functional teams to align integration design with business processes and data models. Translate functional needs into detailed technical specifications and integration flows.
  • Evaluate available technologies (middleware, APIs, message brokers, integration platforms) and recommend the most suitable stack based on performance, maintainability, and business fit.
  • Oversee execution and guide the development team, reviewing code and configurations, enforcing standards, and ensuring quality across all integration deliverables.
  • Troubleshoot complex integration issues and drive performance optimization to ensure system reliability and scalability.
  • Train and mentor team members — functional, technical, and cross-departmental — to strengthen integration knowledge and autonomy.
  • Establish and maintain internal best practices, development standards, and processes for integrations and related technologies.
  • Contribute to the sales cycle when complex integration scenarios arise: advise customers on the best technical solutions, participate in meetings, and support with demos or technical estimates when required.

What We Are Looking For

We're looking for someone who combines technical depth with a collaborative mindset and a passion for solving complex integration challenges:

  • Strong technical background in enterprise system integration, ideally across ERP, CRM, HR, and Financial platforms.
  • Deep knowledge of API-led integration, middleware, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with modern integration tools and frameworks (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, Kafka, REST/SOAP APIs).
  • Familiarity with data management, master data integration, and cloud-to-cloud or cloud-to-on-premise integrations.
  • Ability to translate business process needs into scalable, maintainable integration solutions.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with both technical and functional stakeholders.
  • Analytical, curious, and pragmatic — able to design elegant architectures that work in the real world.

Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise applications, integration design, or process consulting.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing integrations for large or complex enterprise environments.
  • Background in manufacturing, supply chain, or enterprise applications (ERP/CRM/HR) preferred.
  • Solid experience designing and implementing integrations using APIs, middleware, and message queuing technologies (e.g., Kafka).
  • Experience with cybersecurity and authentication mechanisms, including SSO, OAuth, JWT, mTLS, and SAML, ensuring secure integration and data exchange across systems.
  • Strong programming and scripting skills, ideally with Progress 4GL and Boomi; experience with TypeScript, Java, NiFi, or Kafka is highly valued.
  • Good understanding of relational database concepts, including data modeling, SQL, and integration with enterprise systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Certifications in integration platforms or architecture (e.g., MuleSoft, TOGAF, AWS/Azure Integration) are a plus.

What We Offer

  • Fair Compensation: competitive pay based on market benchmarks in your country of residence.
  • 100% Remote: work from anywhere within your home country — we trust you to deliver results, not count hours.
  • Short- and Long-Term Incentive Plans: we all share in the company's success through performance-based rewards.
  • Values-Driven Leadership: our core values aren't just words, they guide our decisions and shape our culture every day.
  • Be Part of Something New: join us at the start of an exciting, innovative journey and help shape our future from the ground up.
  • Flexible Vacation Policy: take time off when you need it, we believe rest fuels creativity and excellence.
  • Flexible Schedule: we're a results-oriented organization that believes in work-life balance. Start early to pick up your kids or hit the gym; we trust you to manage your time responsibly.
  • Great Working Environment: we work hard, celebrate our wins, and enjoy the journey together.
