About the Role

We're looking for an Enterprise Applications Integration Software Engineer to develop, configure and deploy the integrations of our customer's enterprise systems landscape. You'll use the different technology stacks available to implement integrations across Enterprise Applications such as ERP, Financials, Manufacturing, HR, CRM and SRM platforms, ensuring performance, scalability, and resilience in how our business applications connect and evolve.

This role is ideal for someone tech-savvy and eager to learn different tools, with the strategic mindset to judge how best to use each technology to standardize data and business process flows across a global enterprise.

Location

Fully remote, with flexibility to work from any country within the European Union.

What You Will Do

As part of our integration team, you'll be working with cutting-edge technologies and play a key role in delivering robust, high-performance solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop the integrations specified by the Integration Architect, ensuring alignment with our development standards and best practices.
  • Configure and manage technologies such as Boomi, NiFi, Kafka, QAD's Qxtend & Integration Platform, SAP's Integration Suite (ESB/iPaaS), Epicor Automation Studio or Infor ION.
  • Lead and support the deployment process from development through to production environments.
  • Collaborate with the Integration Lead, the Integration Architect and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, suggest enhancements and ensure smooth delivery.
  • Document tested use cases, maintain issue logs, and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Explore new tools and technologies, evaluate their pros and cons, and advise on potential use cases.
  • Diagnose and resolve integration issues and drive performance optimization to ensure system reliability and scalability.
  • Mentor new team members on integration tools, standards and workflows.
  • Define and maintain internal best practices, development standards, and internal processes.
  • Support the sales cycle by providing technical estimates.

What We Are Looking For

We're looking for someone who combines technical depth with a collaborative mindset and a passion for solving complex integration challenges:

  • Strong development experience with Progress 4GL, Boomi, NiFi and Kafka; TypeScript, Java and other modern programming languages are a plus.
  • Familiarity with enterprise system integration, ideally across ERP, CRM, HR, and Financial platforms.
  • Solid understanding of API-led integration, middleware, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
  • Knowledge of secure authentication protocols: SSO, OAuth2, JWT, mTLS, SAML.
  • Proficiency in relational databases, data modelling, and SQL.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with both technical and functional stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience developing integrations using tools and programming languages such as Boomi and Progress 4GL. Experience with TypeScript, Java, NiFi, or Kafka is highly valued.
  • Solid experience designing and implementing integrations using APIs, middleware, and message queuing technologies (e.g., Kafka).
  • Background in manufacturing, supply chain, or enterprise applications (ERP/CRM/HR) preferred.
  • Experience with cybersecurity and authentication mechanisms, including SSO, OAuth, JWT, mTLS, and SAML, ensuring secure integration and data exchange across systems.
  • Good understanding of relational database concepts, including data modelling, SQL, and integration with enterprise systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Certifications in integration platforms or architecture (e.g., MuleSoft, TOGAF, AWS/Azure Integration) are a plus.
